What Is the Working Principle of a Small Waste Incinerator?
A small-scale garbage incinerator is a device that achieves the harmless treatment of garbage through high-temperature combustion. Its core lies in the full oxidative decomposition of solid waste under controlled conditions. Unlike traditional open-air incineration, small-scale garbage incinerators adopt a closed furnace structure, combined with an air supply system and temperature control device, which enables garbage to burn in a stable high-temperature environment. This not only significantly improves combustion efficiency but also reduces the generation of harmful substances. Such equipment is usually applied in rural areas, hospitals, small factories and remote regions, serving as an important solution for decentralized garbage disposal.

In the actual operation process, garbage is first put into the primary combustion chamber. Under the conditions of sufficient oxygen and high temperature (generally reaching above 800℃), it starts to burn. This stage mainly completes the drying, volatilization and initial combustion of garbage, releasing a large amount of combustible gas and heat. Subsequently, the incompletely burned gas enters the secondary combustion chamber, where it is burned again at a higher temperature (usually ≥850℃) with sufficient residence time, so as to achieve more thorough decomposition of harmful substances.
After the combustion is completed, the generated flue gas enters the flue gas treatment system. Through necessary purification devices such as dust removal and cooling, the emission of pollutants is reduced, ensuring that the flue gas meets the emission standards before being discharged into the atmosphere. At the same time, the residue after combustion is greatly reduced, accounting for only 10%–20% of the original garbage volume, which is convenient for subsequent treatment or landfilling. With this complete treatment process, small-scale garbage incinerators not only achieve the goals of rapid garbage volume reduction and harmless treatment but also greatly improve the overall treatment efficiency and environmental safety.
